AYA KAPLAN
Theater stage director, playwright, and senior acting and writing teacher. Guest professor at the Shenkar engineering, design and Art college.
Her works are performed regularly in theaters in Israel, amongst them the Cameri Theater, Habima, the Khan theater, the Beer Sheva theater, and others.
Between 2011-2016, served as a member of the Beer Sheva theater artistic committee. Served as a judge in various Israeli theater festivals' committees.
Teaches acting, writing and text analysis seminars for actors, directors, and designers, in Israel and abroad.
In recent years her work is mainly concentrated on directing her own plays, as well as creating a new artistic language for original Israeli play-writing, and bringing about feminine narratives to center stage.
